Charlotte Allison-Bruce – Miss Intercontinental Australia 2017 Charlotte Allison-Bruce Charlotte 24, is a Kenthurst resident and former Northholm Grammar student. Since completing a Bachelor of Design in Fashion she has been working on the launch of her business; two fashion labels, a luxury women’s wear label and an equestrian clothing label.
11 years ago Charlotte moved with her family to acreage in Kenthurst so that they could house show horses and further her riding career. Charlotte has been showing horses for 16 years and recently won SHC Adult Rider of the Year in the 21-30 years category. In August Charlotte competed in the Miss Intercontinental Australia National finals which were held on the Gold Coast. An elated Charlotte considers herself fortunate to have won this competition and she now holds the title of Miss Intercontinental Australia 2017.
Along with this title Charlotte also won the awards for Most Photogenic, Social Media Queen, Best in Evening Gown and Miss Charity. All awards were a great honour however it was the particular achievement of Miss Charity which gave her the greatest satisfaction as this title recognised the greatest funds raised by any of the contestants. Charlotte’s nominated charity was The National Breast Cancer Foundation. Charlotte would love to thank her local community for their generous donations and for their continued support, in particular the Kenthurst Rotary Club.
She feels so honoured and privileged to be surrounded by so many generous and kind people and to call the Hills District home. Early in the New Year Charlotte will be representing Australia as the Australian Delegate at the 46th Miss Intercontinental Final which will be held in Egypt. Over a two week period Charlotte be working with various charities and humanitarian groups as well as getting to know over 70 contestants from all over the world, culminating, of course, by competing for the Miss Intercontinental Title.
Charlotte feels incredibly proud and honoured not only to represent Australia but also the Hills District, on the International stage.
