Dural Chamber Report

We are pleased to announce the Dural Chamber has just taken a new marketing intern to assist our members with the new and changing world of marketing. Marie Sherry is a former student of Hills Grammar and is currently in her third year of university.
Marie’s first task is to review our members and the Chamber’s use of social media.
The Dural Chamber has two facebook pages, @duralchamber and @dooralroundup.
We also have pages on instagram and linkedin, plus our website. Marie will be working with members to help us all use these platforms better, to better collaborate and get the best results. Social media can be very time-consuming so we will also be looking at ways to provide efficiencies.
The Chamber is also welcomes some new members this month – the Dural Country Club and Yellow Brick Road. We look forward to working with them. A number of our Chamber members attended the NSW Business Chamber’s event on the regulation changes affecting how we employ casuals. Those that attended said the meeting was very informative and they all came back with a greater understanding.
Congratulations to two of our members, Cafe Sasanqua and Salts of the Earth, for being nominated as Finalists in the Hills Local Business Awards.
This is a great achievement for them. They would like to thank all those locals who voted for them. The Chamber and Dooral Roundup team did a presentation to Dural Rotary this month on how the Chamber and the Dooral Roundup can assist local community groups. Our members provided us with lots of gifts which were greatly received by the Rotarians.
If you run a local community group and are looking for guest speakers, we would be happy to come along.
