The value of these visits came to the Club’s attention when the Patrick and his wife Margaret visited close relatives of a Rotary Club member at the ARV. These visits were a touching gesture and very much appreciated for some elderly residents. Patrick was the proprietor of The Gaslight Cafe in Castle Mall and upon retirement drove for HADPAC for 5 years as well as the Council Community Bus. Patrick is a very humble man who deserves to be honoured for his Community Service work.
